The Westfield Area YMCA is seeking friendly Fitness Attendants to join our Health & Wellness Team. You will set up and monitor technology for virtual exercise classes, supervise fitness areas, report equipment issues, and promote membership retention with a positive attitude.

Benefits include complimentary YMCA membership, sick leave, retirement plan options, and employee discounts. Must be 16+ with CPR/First Aid and EPI certifications, plus ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid certifications are required.
• EPI (epinephrine) certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort communicating with members.
• Basic comfort with technology (Zoom, cameras, stereo systems) is required.

Responsabilités

• Set up and monitor technology for virtual exercise class programming.
• Supervise and maintain a clean, visually appealing fitness area.
• Report malfunctioning equipment according to protocol.
• Promote YMCA membership retention with a positive, welcoming attitude.
