Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Fish ID Technician to work at a premier hatchery in Marblemount, WA. This role involves performing routine fish identification duties under supervision, including coded-wire tagging, fin clipping, and other marking techniques.

You will assist the Lead and hatchery staff with quality inspections and the transfer of fish from ponds or net pens to the trailer, while keeping work areas clean and sanitized.

What’s a typical day as a Fish ID Technician? You’ll be:
  • Performing routine fish identification duties under close supervision, including coded-wire tagging, fin clipping, and other marking techniques.

  • Assisting the Lead and hatchery staff with quality inspections and the transfer of fish from ponds or net pens to the trailer.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including trailers, restrooms, and breakrooms.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

  • Are willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, and can adapt to various tasks as needed.
