The Wyoming Game and Fish Department seeks one 12-month contract Fish Culture Specialist at the Clark’s Fork Fish Hatchery. Under supervision, duties include spawning activities, tank cleaning, feeding, sample counts, fish inventories, feed calculations, fish stocking, and assisting other hatcheries as needed.

The position may involve weekend work rotation to monitor the facility seven days a week; on-site housing is provided; background check required; start around January 4, 2027 and end June

Responsabilidades

• Completing necessary fish culture duties that will include daily fish and egg monitoring activities, tank cleaning, fish feeding, egg, fry, and juvenile fish care, sampling, inventories, feed calculations, spawning, and fish stocking.
• Maintenance to various pieces of equipment and the facility grounds and buildings.
• Working independently or as part of a team.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
