Job summary

Staffingine LLC is seeking a contract FIS Developer for NYC, NY. The role focuses on designing and delivering PROFILE implementations and customizations on time, while collaborating with customers and analysts to translate requirements into working software.

The candidate will code, test, and deploy across Dev, QA, UAT and PROD environments, with strong emphasis on MUMPS/PSL and GTM knowledge, plus SQL and event-stream experience.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of FIS Profile core banking platform.
• Hands-on with MUMPS PSL languages and GTM database.
• Experience integrating Kafka or other event streams.
• Strong SQL and database skills; Agile/DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support PROFILE implementations and customizations that is delivered on time.
• Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements.
• Provides application software development services or technical support typical.
• Develop program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements, and maintains software applications.
• Create UNIT Test plans, Deploy in Dev, QA, UAT and PROD environments.

Skills Required:

• FIS Profile core banking platform knowledge and hands on experience of mumps & PSL language and GTM database setup.
• Understand business requirements, read existing FIS profile configuration, custom development, modify or build new customer procedures.
• Experience to guide FIS solution implementation.
• Cache/GTM experience.
• Strong working knowledge of database and SQL.
• Nice to have experience enabling FIS profile with Kafka or other event streaming applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working experience of Agile development methodologies ad of DevOps integration.

Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development
