Job summary

Tiello is seeking a First-Year Project Manager in the Greater St. Louis area to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and field teams to deliver on time and within budget.

This role is ideal for someone who has served as a Senior Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager and wants ownership, direct client exposure, and strong mentorship to grow into larger, more complex projects with long-term advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of commercial construction experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience as Senior Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or early-career PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage day-to-day project coordination, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, superintendents, and project stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor buyout.
• Track project budgets, costs, change orders, and financial performance.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
