Job summary

LU Service Corp. is seeking an Apprentice Pipefitter 1st year to join our transmission and distribution team. You will perform construction and maintenance on natural gas pipelines under supervision, learning safety policies and company standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license or CDL, and Operator Qualifications (OQs). Welding certificate may be required; outdoor work in all weather is common. Living near the work site is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold Operator Qualifications (OQs) and related training.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL required.
• Welding certificate may be required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and maintenance on gas transmission and distribution systems.
• Operate heavy and/or specialized equipment as needed.
• Review job site maps and ensure proper utility markings.
• Adhere to safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete records and reports to regulatory requirements.
