Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC 1st Period Apprentice in Boston, MA. You’ll train through in-person, online, and on‑the‑job programs while working on rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s Degree or HVAC certificate is preferred.
• 0-2+ years of related experience or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test systems to verify functionality on a range of HVAC equipment.
• Rebuild HVAC units under direction from Journeyman and Foreman.
• Drive a company vehicle to job sites and manage tools and materials.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and reports accurately and timely.
• Perform basic data entry and use email, internet, and word processing.
• Explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in training and maintain certifications as required.
• Complete jobsite hazard assessments and follow safety guidelines.
