Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time HVAC 1st Period Apprentice in Manchester, NH. You’ll train across equipment types, gain hands-on experience, and complete on-the-job programs with mentors.

Expect to work with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and advanced technologies; a unionized work environment provides structured growth and safety training. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associate degree or HVAC certificate, plus relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree or HVAC certificate preferred.
• 0–2+ years of related experience with increasing responsibility.
• Must be a member of Local Union 537.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• Current first aid/CPR certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in service of equipment including inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality.
• Perform and assist in the rebuilding of an HVAC unit under supervision.
• Drive a company vehicle to and from jobsite and manage inventory of tools and materials.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and reports in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers by providing status reports and explanations of technical information.
