Manhattanville University seeks a Resident Coordinator for First-Year Community to support and engage a large first-year resident population. The role includes supervising 18 RAs, providing leadership development, and collaborating across Residence Life to manage move-in, safety inspections, and conduct processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in residence life and student/community development.
• Supervision and staff training experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate up to 18 undergraduate RAs.
• Provide leadership development through trainings and meetings.
• Cultivate an engaged residential population in Spellman Hall.
• Collaborate to manage housing processes like move-in and inspections.
• Enforce community standards and provide leadership opportunities.
• Serve as a resource for students’ academic and social needs.
• Serve in on-call rotation for crises and campus needs.
• Create, administer, and adjudicate student conduct cases.
