Qualifications

Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a job-related field.
Two years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field; a master’s degree may substitute for one year of the professional experience.
A master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Evaluate first-year applications, high school transcripts, GPA, and college preparatory coursework to determine CSU admission eligibility.
Review applications requiring specialized processing, including international coursework, compact programs, and other special admission populations.
Interpret and apply CSU and university admission and residency policies while exercising independent judgment to resolve eligibility questions.
Respond to applicants, families, and high school counselors regarding admission requirements, residency, application status, and related processes.
Maintain accurate applicant records and documentation using student information systems, databases, and other admissions technologies.
