Granola, an AI-powered notepad, is seeking its first Strategic Finance Lead to establish the financial operating rhythm for the next growth phase.

You'll own the financial model, forecasting, and strategic decision support, partnering with leaders across the company to translate performance into actionable guidance and ensure optimal resource allocation. This hands-on role demands sharp analytics and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in Strategic Finance, FP&A or corporate finance.
• Experience building and owning financial models in a high-growth tech company.
• Strong financial modeling and analytic skills; can structure ambiguous problems.
• Experience partnering with executives and translating analysis into actions.
• Deep understanding of SaaS unit economics and operating metrics.
• Proven ability to drive structured analysis to clear conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Own the company model and forecasting, connecting revenue, costs, margin and cash.
• Lead company planning and cadence, translating plans into financial outcomes.
• Collaborate with leaders to inform resource allocation and budgets.
• Deepen understanding of unit economics, including CAC, LTV and gross margin.
• Drive strategic analyses and decision-making, including scenarios and investments.
• Build strategic finance foundations to scale with Granola.
