Job summary

At Home in Plano, TX is seeking a Yard Driver to safely move trailers within the distribution center yard and support inbound and outbound operations. You will position trailers at dock doors on time, maintain yard flow, and perform pre/post-trip inspections of yard equipment.

Responsibilities include moving trailers with a yard truck, spotting trailers to support loading schedules, and communicating with Ops teams. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn yard truck equipment.
• Basic communication skills (verbal and/or radio use).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations using a yard truck.
• Perform trailer spotting to support loading and unloading schedules.
• Maintain organized and efficient yard flow to prevent delays in operations.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations and fluctuations in workload.
