Job summary

Graepel is seeking a Welding position to manufacture parts according to customer drawings and specifications. The role covers setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment including welding machines, spot welder, and robot welder.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred associates in welding, and at least 1 year of welding experience. AWS certification is preferred; forklift experience is a plus, and a team-oriented mindset is important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate welding degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience preferred; ability to read blueprints.
• AWS certification preferred; ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and hands-on operation of welding equipment and methodology.
• Knowledge and hands-on operation of metal fabrication machinery, especially welding equipment.
• Setup fixturing and work areas to produce "0 defect" parts.
• Operate manual and power tools to grind parts according to specification.
• Provide regular maintenance on welding equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity.
• Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
