Job summary

Graepel is seeking a welding position responsible for manufacturing parts per drawings and specifications. The role includes setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment including welding machines, spot welder, and robot welder.

Essential duties include maintaining 0-defect parts, reading blueprints, and collaborating within a team. High school diploma required; associates welding degree preferred; AWS/GMWA experience valued. Monday–Thursday schedule available with 3 day weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates welding degree preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• AWS certification or ability to obtain AWS certification preferred.
• GMWA welding skills including the setup of weld stations.
• Experience using direct read measuring devices.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
• Familiarity with WPS weld procedure specifications.
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment and apply welding methodologies.
• Set up fixturing and work areas for 0 defect parts.
• Operate manual and power tools for grinding per spec.
• Provide regular maintenance on welding equipment.
• Work a regular schedule as determined by supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
