Job summary

Mittera Group Inc in Beaver Dam, WI, is seeking a first-shift Maintenance Supervisor for web press operations. You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshoot outages, and drive continuous-improvement projects to maximize press availability, print quality, safety, and production performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma, apprenticeship, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
• Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably supporting web offset, heatset, or commercial printing equipment.
• One or more years of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission, electrical controls, motors and drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, organization, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to use computerized maintenance management systems, email, spreadsheets, and standard business software.
• Availability to work first shift and adjust hours as production or emergency maintenance needs require.
• Commitment to safe work practices, housekeeping, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead first-shift maintenance activities for web presses and related equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and coordinate safe, effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Develop, schedule, and verify preventive and predictive maintenance for presses and related systems.
• Partner with operators and production leaders to resolve recurring issues.
• Ensure safety procedures (lockout/tagout, guarding, hot-work, confined-space) are followed.
• Maintain accurate work orders, inspection records, parts usage, and downtime data.
• Monitor spare-parts inventory and coordinate purchases and outside repairs.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous-improvement projects.
• Communicate equipment status and priorities to leadership.
• Provide emergency maintenance support outside scheduled hours when required.
