Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of shipping/warehouse experience.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Narrow Aisle Deep Reach trucks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse activities and help ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Prioritize workload and keep workflow moving throughout the shift.
• Coordinate and monitor employees involved in warehouse operations and material movement.
• Promote a safe work environment and help identify and correct safety concerns.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with investigating discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse equipment, scanners, systems, and tools are being used properly.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
• Work closely with Shipping, Receiving, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Transportation, and management.
• Set clear expectations, support team members, and help maintain a positive, productive work environment.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Kansas City! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of the action while also leading others. Our Warehouse Team Leader is a working leader who helps keep daily operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently while supporting employees and working closely with other departments.

What You'll Do

• Narrow Aisle Deep Reach truck experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using warehouse systems, scanners, computers, and common business technology
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, or weekends when business needs require
