Job summary

Westin Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Midway, GA to guide a small team and keep daily operations efficient and accurate. You will oversee picking, packing, scanning, inbound and outbound activities, and resolve inventory issues while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of lead experience, experience with warehouse equipment, and strong communication to support a fast-paced distribution environment. Scheduling is Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven Warehouse Lead experience.
• Experience operating cherry picker, reach, and/or turret truck.
• Strong knowledge of inventory software and warehouse systems.
• Understanding of warehouse safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct the warehouse team to ensure tasks are completed on time and accurately.
• Oversee picking, packing, scanning, inbound and outbound operations.
• Research and resolve inventory issues during the shift.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are complete, accurate, and damage-free.
• Train and develop associates to company standards.
• Review employee time records and attendance.
• Coordinate with inbound carriers and provide updates.
• Maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment and compliance.

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Lead, you'll play a key role in keeping our daily operations efficient, accurate, and customer-focused. Your responsibilities include:

• Assigning, directing, and supporting the warehouse team to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on time
• Overseeing picking, packing, scanning, inbound, and outbound operations
• Researching and resolving inventory issues throughout the shift
• Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are complete, accurate, and damage-free
• Training and developing associates in alignment with company standards
• Reviewing and confirming employee time records and attendance
• Coordinating with inbound carriers and communicating updates
• Maintaining a safe, clean warehouse environment and ensuring compliance
• Reporting operational issues to the Warehouse Manager and recommending solutions
• Leading a team of 4–6 warehouse associates

Schedule

Sunday – Wednesday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM - 4/10's
