Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Receiving Shift, supervise staff, and ensure accurate order pulling for next-day deliveries. The role manages safety, inventory, and documentation while coordinating with the Warehouse Manager to optimize throughput.

The position requires 2–4 years of warehouse experience, a High School diploma, and forklift certification. Prior HACCP/food safety exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some experience in warehousing preferred.
• 2–4 years of warehouse or related experience is expected.
• Preferred: an Associates/2-year degree in business management, logistics or related area.
• Forklift operation certification is a plus; reach truck experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Supervise administrative staff: hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure timely, accurate order pulling and proper stop sequence on trucks.
• Verify product receiving and FIFO stocking, with proper paperwork.
• Uphold service quality by clarifying roles and meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinate pick planning with Warehouse Manager; monitor productivity.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain building security and safety procedures; respond to incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
