Job summary

The position involves operating manual lathe, milling, grinding, and cutting operations, with CNC lathe/mill experience preferred and forklift experience a plus. The work is performed on site in a factory environment.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of quality inspection gauges and measurement tools.
• Must be able to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Experience operating manual lathe, mill, grinder and cut-off saw is required.
• Experience running CNC lathe and mill preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and use measuring devices to make or modify tooling and tools for jobs.
• Build dies; weld fixtures and misc. using prints and bench design.
• Ensure tools are sharpened and tool holders are in good condition before return to stock.
• Repair or requisition replacement parts, tools or hardware as needed to maintain stock.
• Set-up and operate tool room machines for tooling or holders.
