Job summary

Emerson in Aiken, SC is seeking a Machinist II to join the Tool Room team. You will operate and maintain precision machinery to fabricate high-quality components, read blueprints and GD&T, and perform setups and changeovers with first‑piece validation.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, routers, process documentation.
• Perform dimensional inspections and adjustments to maintain conformance.
• Read and interpret process instructions and work instructions.
• Operate and set up CNC machining processes to meet safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and stop work when unsafe conditions exist.
• Read blueprints, GD&T and process documentation.
• Set up and operate CNC machining processes to meet requirements.
• Perform machine setups, tool changes and first‑piece validation.
• Maintain tool readiness and perform TPM activities.
• Identify and dispose nonconforming material and scrap.
