Manpower Maine in York County, Maine, seeks a Weld Supervisor to lead a skilled TIG welding team on first shift, with a hands-on leadership role overseeing welding operations and driving operational excellence.

Salary range $70,000–$85,000 annually; direct-hire; Monday–Friday 6:50am–3:10pm; benefits include health, dental, life, AD&D, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and generous vacation.

Qualifications

• Five years of TIG welding experience and five years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of welders and production employees
• Support daily operations while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Coordinate workflow, staffing, and production priorities to meet customer demands
• Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and workforce development activities
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with reporting, operational planning, and process improvement projects
