Job summary

STRATTEC Security Corporation is seeking a Team Leader to supervise production teams, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes leading by example, coordinating with supervisory staff, and maintaining standard work to ensure on-time delivery.

The Team Leader will assist in staffing, manage shift start-up and hand-off, and support training while ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment on the Milwaukee shop

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and morale targets.
• Perform first piece approvals and/or setups as needed.
• Review production metrics and 5S checklists during the shift.
• Escalate issues to Supervisor when roadblocks or material delivery issues arise.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas and sustain standard work.
