Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. seeks a skilled Structural Fitter to read blueprints, measure, and assemble large industrial steel systems in our Jacksonville, FL facility. You will cut, fit, and weld components to exact tolerances, follow QA standards, and operate related tools safely.

Responsibilities include installing hangers and supports, maintaining quality and safety, and complying with OSHA requirements in a fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math and language skills required.
• Familiarity with threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting.
• 1–2 years related experience or training; preference for 2+ years in structural fitting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, take outs, measurements; ensure true/plumb/square checks.
• Cut, prep, fit and tack components to weld-ready status per drawings.
• Select, measure, and cut with torch, plasma, grinders; prep surfaces for welding.
• Install structural hangers, supports, braces; monitor quality and safety.
