Job summary

Kitron Group is seeking an SMT Operator for the first shift at our Windber, PA facility. You will read and execute work instructions, prepare materials, label feeders, and operate SMT and paste equipment to ensure high-quality output.

The role requires basic PC skills, independent work, and willingness to work 6:00am–3:30pm or 6:00am–2:30pm on alternating Fridays. We offer comprehensive benefits and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Reliable with Windows PC software and basic programs.
• IPC-610-001 certification preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Prepare materials and equipment for SMT production.
• Label feeders and load onto pick-and-place systems.
• Set up and operate MPM paste and pick-and-place machines.
• Maintain quality checks and document production data.
• Notify supervisor of defects or equipment issues.
