John Soules Foods seeks a Production Supervisor for 1st Shift - Sizing in Gainesville, GA. You will oversee production employees and ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and output targets.

The role requires 2+ years in food manufacturing, with preferred experience in protein/RTE processes and Ishida scales or Pac-Mac bagger operations. Strong organizational skills and prior supervision are a plus. Local candidates only.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in food manufacturing required.
• Protein manufacturing and/or RTE experience strongly preferred.
• Ishida scales and Pac-mac bagger experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
• Direct and coordinate production employees.
• Read production schedules and reports to determine requirements.
• Coordinate operations with other supervisors.
• Plan and establish employee schedules and production sequences.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment for defects.
• Train new employees on equipment and procedures.
• Resolve worker problems and complaints with management.
• Understand specifications and company policies.
• Maintain production data and prepare management reports.
• Suggest measures to improve methods, equipment, quality, or efficiency.
• Recommend budgets, standards, and rates based on policy and labor.
• Requisition materials, equipment, parts, or repairs.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
