Job summary

WeSource is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for first shift in Maxton, NC. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, schedule carrier appointments, verify paperwork, and enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with accuracy.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and paid holidays. We value attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer support or shipping/receiving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment schedules with customers, carriers, and warehouse operations teams.
• Schedule carrier appointments for shipping and receiving.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork including bills of lading and packing slips.
• Enter shipping/receiving data into the WMS accurately and timely.
• Prepare and sign paperwork ensuring accuracy and compliance with instructions and quality requirements.
• Review forklift operator entries and warehouse transactions for accuracy in the WMS.
• Maintain customer portals and internal data systems for inventory and order information.
• Communicate load status to customers as directed.
• Direct and assist carrier drivers with dock assignments and procedures.
• Greet clients, drivers, or visitors at the office.
• Support warehouse operations by coordinating with supervisors and production personnel.
• Report incidents affecting product quality, inventory accuracy, or safety to leadership.
