Job summary

ChampionX in Crowley, TX is seeking a Shipping Material Handler for 1st shift. You will scan material as it moves between locations, operate a forklift, and prepare shipments. You will enter shipment details, label items, and maintain accurate inventory, building crates and loading cargo by road, sea, or air.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Computer data entry.
• Read and comprehend manufacturing documents and safety notifications.
• Must be able to read and comprehend manufacturing docs and safety notifications.
• Must have the ability to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Scan material as it is moved from one location to another for inventory tracking.
• Operates a forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Builds appropriate shipping crates and prepares shipments by packing and loading.
• Enters addresses and shipment details into the computer system and labels all shipments.
• Inspect material for defects and damage.
• Complete RMA and work with Quality to resolve with the vendor.
• Completes customs paperwork for international shipments.
