Abbott in Columbus, OH is seeking a Distribution Center Shipping Clerk on 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm). You will receive incoming goods, pick, pack, and dispatch shipments, and maintain accurate inventory in our ERP system.

You'll collaborate with Regulatory, Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, and others, ensure proper material routing, and comply with FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies while upholding quality standards.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and warehouse databases.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team and as an individual contributor.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to communicate at multiple levels.
• Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.

Mansioni

• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods per orders.
• Ensure proper routing of materials between departments.
• Enter data into ERP/database to maintain stock and inventory records.
• Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries about stock transfers or schedules.
• Perform routine clerical activities per procedures.
• Update stock cards and inventory records; complete receipts, transfers, and deliveries.
• Process receipts and shipments, including international and DG shipments.
• Cross functional communication with Regulatory, Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning and others.
• Follow control procedures to complete tasks.
• Complete Warehousing & Inventory execution tasks.
• Perform Material Movements physically and systematically.
• Generate Work Orders from an ERP system; perform Work Order Receipts.
• Perform cycle counting and process stock transfers.
