Mittera Creative + Tech seeks a Sheetfed Press Assistant on 1st shift to support setup and operation of a printing press, coordinate with the Press Operator, and assist crew to meet customer specs and deadlines. You will help maintain quality, reduce waste, and follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities include loading sheets, assisting with setup, wash-up, and routine maintenance, while recording ink usage and inspecting press sheets for defects. OSHA/EPA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand job tickets, layout sheets and specifications.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Able to perform basic math and measurements to solve practical problems.
• Able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsabilités

• Load feeder with sheets to ensure continuous operation.
• Assist in setup, make-ready and operation of the sheetfed printing press and related equipment.
• Assist in wash-up, cleaning, and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Record ink usage and check plates and press sheets for defects.
• Follow OSHA and EPA rules and company safety procedures.
