Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Fort Wayne is a 100-bed residential addiction treatment facility delivering medical detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services. You will join a collaborative team of therapists, nurses, and clinicians to lead psychoeducational and therapeutic groups and support clients on their recovery journey.

This role requires weekend rotation on a five-day schedule (including every other weekend) and emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based care, strong documentation,

Qualifications

• Associate licensure (LMHCA/LMFTA/LACA) or higher preferred.
• Current Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential (CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT) preferred.
• One year of experience in substance use or behavioral health treatment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and observational skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and professionalism.
• If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational, process, and therapeutic groups that support clients throughout their recovery journey.
• Help clients develop healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and the multidisciplinary treatment team to monitor client progress.
• Communicate significant client concerns promptly to the Clinical Director or appropriate clinical leadership.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all group sessions and client interactions.
• Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
