Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector for the Receiving Inspection team on the 1st shift. This role ensures incoming parts meet specifications and supports production quality.

You will use SAP, Salesforce, and Excel to document results, calibrate inspection tools, and collaborate with purchasing and engineering to resolve non-conformities. The role requires at least 1 year of inspection experience and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience inspecting electrical and mechanical components.
• 1+ years reading mechanical blueprints.
• 1+ years inspecting welded components using welding symbols and tolerances.
• 1+ years using tape measures, calipers, and height gauges.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Collaborate with procurement and engineering to resolve non-conformances.
• Maintain properly calibrated inspection tools.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use SAP, Salesforce, and Excel for documentation.
