Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to conduct routine tests, document results, and support calibration of lab equipment in a safe, compliant environment.

You'll perform metrology and chemical testing on materials and finished parts, report failures, and maintain accurate records in our systems. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic statistics knowledge, and MS Office skills to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Advanced computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and calculations preferred.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab procedures to test the conformity and quality of materials, (semi-) finished parts, products or returned products
• Perform quality analyses relating to metrology, physical and chemical testing, returned parts/warranty analysis
• Report on stated failures and take or initiate appropriate actions
• Document test procedure results in the systems and support interpretation with superior
• Carry out calibration and maintain laboratory tools and equipment functionality
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing procedures
