Job summary

Creative Foam is seeking a General Labor associate for the first shift (5:30 am - 2:00 pm) to support assembly, trimming, packaging, and quality inspection in a busy manufacturing environment.

Must be able to bend, lift, stand, and follow safety procedures while contributing to a collaborative team focused on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that parts being produced conform to customer quality requirements.
• Ensure that parts are trimmed, assembled and otherwise processed to customer quality requirements.
• Ensure that parts are packaged in the correct method with correct packaging quantities.
• Ensure that all necessary data is correctly entered into the Plex manufacturing system.
• Alert appropriate personnel of quality deficiencies in a timely manner
• Alert appropriate personnel of equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in maintaining a clean facility whenever possible.
• Follow Creative Foam policies and procedures.
• Promote the organization’s safety efforts and maintain a safe working environment.
• Positively reinforce production goals, standards and work ethic in every area of the facility
• Maintain 5S systems for their work area.
• Perform other tasks as required.
