Job summary

Niron Magnetics is hiring a Production Technician to support customer production by operating and monitoring established manufacturing processes for our Iron Nitride magnets. Safety, quality, and throughput are the focus on the plant floor, lab, and in product scale-up.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or technical certification in engineering technology, electronics, or mechanical fields, plus 2+ years in manufacturing or technical roles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or Mechanical required.
• 2+ years of relevant manufacturing or technical experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and software-based control systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to fabricate magnets for customers.
• Perform process development and optimization to scale from experiments to volume production.
• Assist with equipment setup, modification, and qualification.
• Care for and clean process equipment and work areas.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve processes and magnet properties.
• Contribute to RCCA activities to address product and process issues.
• Execute tasks per SOPs and production schedules.
• Identify deviations and escalate to Engineering or supervision as needed.
• Support continuous improvement through data collection and feedback.
