Job summary

Schneider Electric in Seneca, SC, is seeking a Team Lead to provide daily leadership, support to the supervisor, and ensure safe, efficient production. You will coordinate workflow, address issues in real time, and train team members in standard work and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and familiarity with SAP, LDS, DiSS, and MS Office tools. Shift is 1st (6:00 am–2:30 pm) with overtime as needed; flexible to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Leadership or team-lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret diagrams, schedules, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with SPS, 5S, PDCA, and continuous improvement tools preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, LDS, DiSS, and Microsoft Office; pass a digital acumen assessment during interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and first-line support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
• Coordinate workflow, resolve real-time issues, reinforce standardized work, and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform production tasks, training, or lead the team in the supervisor's absence.
• Promote and enforce safety rules, PPE use, and ergonomic practices.
• Respond to Andon calls and stabilize containment; support root-cause analysis.
• Coach adherence to standardized work and conduct daily audits.
• Train team members and maintain skills matrices and certifications.
• Communicate work instructions clearly and provide coaching and feedback.
