Job summary

ACS Group, located in New Berlin, Wisconsin, is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead custom manufacturing and assembly lines with a focus on quality and on-time delivery. You will guide teams to meet specifications, supervise daily activities, and drive safety and productivity improvements.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent, plus 2+ years of supervisory experience in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
• Strong supervisory skills in engineered, low-volume, high-mix environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude; machining knowledge a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to communicate across levels.
• Understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage assembly area manufacturing activities to achieve plant objectives and goals.
• Direct the manufacturing of all products consistent with established specifications for quality, functionality and lead time to attain on-time delivery goals.
• Maintain metrics, expectations and accountabilities of direct reports.
• Measure internal performance metrics such as productivity, labor efficiencies.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory guidelines.
