Aluminum Precision Products is a leading aluminum forgings manufacturer based in Santa Ana, CA. The company seeks an experienced production lead to supervise 20+ workers, assign daily tasks, and ensure the production schedule is followed.

The role emphasizes quality, lean manufacturing, and safety. Candidates should have 1–2 years in a lead role, strong communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints. ITAR/EAR considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in lead role
• 1-2 years of High School or equivalent
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• 3+ months related manufacturing/production experience
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Must speak, read and write in English

Responsibilities

• Organizes and assigns tasks to workers throughout the day ensuring production schedule is followed
• Ensure operating efficiencies are met and production remains on schedule
• Assures quality and production requirements are met as per job-specific travelers
• Writes accident reports and leads RCCA-based accident investigations and corrective actions
• Perform regular production job functions as needed
• Analyzes work orders and other specifications
• Coordinates projects between management and workers
• Assure correct labor reporting and product counts
