Sanders Candy in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production of sea salt caramels on first shift. You will lead a team, schedule work, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time output.

The role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, a high school diploma, strong communication, and a commitment to safety. Overtime includes weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Strong reasoning and decision-making skills for the production floor.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train manufacturing employees, ensuring safe operations and meeting production schedules.
• Availability to work 6:30a - 3:30p, Monday - Friday, with overtime on Saturdays as needed.
• Optimize productivity by assigning personnel and machines effectively.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality policies.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful team environment and engage employees.
• Resolve issues and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Build strong customer and supplier relationships across the organization.
• Follow GMP, QFS, and OSHA safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
