Sanders Candy in Clinton Township, MI, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee first-shift manufacturing for sea salt caramels. Lead and train staff, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production while maintaining GMP and OSHA standards in an indoor food setting.

The role requires 2 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, strong communication, and teamwork. Overtime and weekend coverage are possible as needed.

• Optimize productivity by assigning personnel and machines effectively.
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality policies.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful team environment, promoting employee engagement.
• Resolve issues and implement corrective measures when necessary.
• Build strong customer and supplier relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Preform other related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of FDA and OSHA requirements is a plus.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be high and employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment. This is an indoor food manufacturing setting.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, may occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use your hands to control computerized equipment and machinery.
