Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs in Watertown, SD is hiring a Production Lead to develop and train seasonal and full-time staff, expedite work orders, and report production performance. This role supports the Production Supervisor to achieve safety, quality, and production targets in a fast-paced plant environment.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical multitasker with strong organizational skills, capable of leading operations across shifts and maintaining accurate production metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and training manufacturing staff
• Ability to develop schedules and evaluate employees
• Proficient in tracking production, scrap and rework
• Provide input on disciplinary actions and merit increases
• Strong safety and quality orientation

Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day issues to meet production, safety, shipping and quality goals.
• Train, develop, and maintain training sheets for all employees; recommend for advancement.
• Complete production, scrap, and rework reports.
• Provide input on disciplinary reports, evaluations and merit increases.
• Execute scheduled work orders to meet customer requirements.
• Record attendance for seasonal and full-time staff.
• Assist supervisor in incident/accident investigations and reporting.
