Job summary

Aerotek in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Production Helper to support a CNC/aerospace manufacturing shop. You will deliver materials, move parts, keep the shop clean, and assist with basic machine tasks on a first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., contracting toward a hire path.

Requirements include 2+ years in manufacturing, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn forklift operation and safety protocols. Benefits are offered and onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or machine shop experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physical labor.
• Experience supporting production, machining, or assembly teams.
• Ability to learn and safely operate a forklift.
• Strong commitment to safety and workplace organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and supplies to support production.
• Move parts and components throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop floor.
• Operate a forklift (training provided if needed).
• Assist with basic machine upkeep and light mechanical tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and support shop operations.
