Aerotek in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Production Helper to support daily operations in a CNC/aerospace manufacturing shop. You will deliver materials, move parts, keep the shop clean, and assist with basic machine tasks on first shift.

This contract-to-hire role offers stability, with first-shift hours and a pathway to full-time, plus benefits eligibility after conversion. You will operate safely, learn forklift if needed, and contribute to a team focused on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or machine shop experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physical labor.
• Experience supporting production, machining, or assembly teams.
• Ability to learn and safely operate a forklift.
• Strong commitment to safety and workplace organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and supplies to support production.
• Move parts and components throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop floor.
• Operate a forklift (training provided if needed).
• Assist with basic machine upkeep and light mechanical tasks.
