Job summary

Rubbercraft is seeking a Materials Handler II (1st Shift) in Long Beach, CA to ensure timely flow of materials from arrival to storage or shipment. You will pull, receive, stock, and distribute materials, and maintain accurate records in WMS/ERP.

Forklift operation and safety are essential as you support loading, unloading, and shipping processes. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in material handling, with high school/GED and forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of material handling or warehouse experience.
• Experience with WMS/ERP inventory transactions preferred.
• Forklift operation experience; certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, issue, and stage materials based on work orders and production requirements.
• Receive, stock, and distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify shipments against POs, packing slips, and invoices; report discrepancies.
• Record material movements in WMS/ERP to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support material flow between receiving, stockrooms, and shipping.
• Prepare materials for shipment with proper labeling and documentation.
• Perform inventory checks and cycle counts; reconcile variances.
• Maintain clean, safe storage areas and comply with safety procedures.
