Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a hands-on assembler to help complete products by assembling and adjusting materials. This labor-intensive role requires careful attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 35 pounds, work in a team or independently, and use basic hand tools to assemble parts while maintaining clean, organized workstations and following blueprints and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Follows safety rules and wears PPE at all times.
• Reads blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Performs heavy manual labor with attention to detail.
• Maintains quality through inspections and clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to the area Supervisor.
• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, bills of material or other written instructions or procedures.
• Perform heavy manual labor required to manipulate and adjust materials.
• Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced. Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations
• Operate functional area equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity and keeping the work area neat and clean
• Report any safety problems, hazards, accidents and near misses to management
• Other duties as assigned
