Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an entry-level Production Assembler to learn assembly processes under direct supervision. You will assemble parts, follow work instructions, and help meet basic production, safety, and quality requirements.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning, using basic hand and power tools, keeping a clean, organized work area, following safety procedures and PPE, and supporting the team’s daily output while developing skills for greater responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (full shift).
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components following work instructions and supervision.
• Perform basic assembly tasks using hand and power tools.
• Inspect own work for basic quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work area (6S/Lean practices).
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Move materials within the work area as needed.
• Support team production goals and daily output requirements.
