Job summary

GE Vernova Operations LLC is seeking a QC Inspector to inspect machined work pieces and ensure conformance to specifications. The role requires reading and following inspection instructions, using precision tools, and documenting results across first run, in-process, and final parts.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work shifts, and comply with safety and export-control requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 1 year manufacturing experience in machine operation and/or quality.
• Ability to interpret written inspection instructions and customer specifications.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and documentation of inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interpret and follow written inspection instructions and quality requirements.
• Measure dimensions using precision instruments (micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, etc.).
• Locate reference points and measure angles, radii and distances with appropriate aids.
• Complete inspection forms and reports for first run, in-process and final parts.
• Perform airflow tests and both incoming and final inspections.
• Support other related duties as assigned.
