Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a QC Inspector to join its manufacturing team in the United States. You will inspect machined work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications and approve parts that meet quality requirements.

Responsibilities include interpreting inspection instructions, measuring with precision instruments, and completing all inspection forms and reports. You will inspect first run, in-process and final parts and support airflow and final inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret written inspection instructions

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts to verify conformance to specifications
• Interpret written inspection instructions and customer specs
• Measure dimensions using micrometer, caliper, dial indicator and similar tools
• Locate reference points and measure angles, radii and distances
• Complete inspection forms and reports
• Inspect first run, in-process and final parts
• Perform airflow tests and incoming inspections
• Perform related duties as assigned
