Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a hands-on production team member for 1st shift to help deliver safe, high-quality poultry products. You will work on the processing line performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet strict quality standards.

In this role you’ll operate equipment, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare guidelines while supporting teammates to meet production goals. Great for dependable, eager learners.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Multitask, good communication, follow instructions, and be a team player.
• Physical: Able to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees), stand 8-11 hours, lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products following USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working in different areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
