Job summary

Bachoco USA is hiring a Production Worker for Dept. 68 - 1st Shift in Heavener. You will work Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, focusing on sorting diseased or defective birds and performing related production tasks under supervision.

The role requires adherence to Poultry Product Inspection Act regulations, ability to pass a color deficiency test, and completion of required certifications. This is a safety sensitive position with routine data entry and manual labor.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands basic instruction and safety procedures.
• Ability to read simple words and recognize differences between words and numbers.
• Must pass color deficiency test.
• Must complete certification program and training satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Identify diseases and defects in birds per Poultry Product Inspection Act.
• Decide whether to discard or salvage birds.
• Discard cadavers or badly bruised birds.
• Mark parts to be trimmed in Evisceration.
• Trim bad sections of birds.
• Enter data on birds discarded or salvaged into the computer.
• Perform various production labor duties as assigned.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
