Job summary

Pete & Gerry's Organics is hiring for a packaging associate responsible for palletizing finished cartons and performing final inspections on the clean side of the processing plant. You will monitor date codes and ensure product quality per customer requirements, while supporting a team-focused, animal-welfare aligned culture.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and prior processing environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a processing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Stage materials for processing including pallets and trays.
• Change tape on machine during start or downtime.
• Assist with labeling and staging of boxes or cartons.
• Palletize boxes according to customer labels.
• Inspect for damage and stack boxes neatly.
• Notify Team Leaders of shortages per the daily plan.
• Monitor date codes on finished cases per customer requirements.
